Academic Background:
Hi, I'm Dave Sabina. My background encompasses the design and implementation of systems to enable enterprises of all sizes to document and evaluate their R&D efforts. Since 1994 I have been a frequent lecturer of R&D tracking methodologies to both professional accounting bodies and industry research personnel. My primary focus is in providing scientific and development personnel with simple but effective tools to document and augment their research efforts.
I am currently the proud team leader of the Hamilton and St. Catharine's area SR&ED practitioners' group. This group began in early 1999 and represents professionals from the accounting, legal and scientific professions, all of whom are engaged in the practice of SR&ED tax credit claim preparation. As a whole, this group continuously makes representations to Ottawa whenever we see opportunities to enhance the SR&ED legislation for the benefit of all taxpayers. In this respect, I welcome taxpayers to voice their SR&ED concerns to me and other group members in order to ensure both fairness and consistency in the Income Tax system.
Having been a licensed stock broker 2 who has also completed the CICA's in-depth tax course, I have developed a network of tax and financial professionals capable of providing a full financial package to the owner managed business: particularly those based in technology intensive industries. From business plan development and financing consultation to accounting system design and implementation, I provide interested clients with a network of qualified professionals, partners and potential investors in order to bring all aspects of their business game-plan into focus.

Hi, I'm Bill!
I have attained a B.A.Sc., P.Eng., and a C.A. My work experience includes both engineering and financial experience, with a strong focus on SR&ED development.
I have had 15 years in SR&ED claims for clients in many industries. Here at MEUK Corporation, I employ my engineering and financial backgrounds to assist in preparing SR&ED Tax Credit claims for our clients. I work directly with the staff and management team at each business with the goals of making the claim process both efficient and successful. I assist the team in recognizing eligible claims, optimally documenting each creative 'knowledge' solution and the related SR&ED costs.

RICHARD MASTERS, CMA richard@meuk.net
Hi, I'm Richard Masters.
I'm a professional accountant with over 25 years of experience in preparing SR&ED claims. I enjoy conducting seminars on the eligibility requirements to the Engineering and Accounting Departments of various claimants.
My broad experience in taxation includes responsibility for the compilation and preparation of the annual Federal and Provincial Income Tax Returns, and related discussions with CRA auditors in defense of our submissions. As a result I have developed an appreciation of the importance of correlating the financial aspects of the cclaims with the technical descriptions. To this extent I enjoy meeting with companies of all sizes and industries with an objective to optimize the preparation of SR&ED claims.
